Self-Governed Granting Program
The goal of TM3'S Granting Program is to help inspire, support, and fund endeavors of individuals with disabilities in several realms of their lives; i.e., productivity (business goals), medical needs, service animal needs, and healthcare aide appreciation with a major aspect being self governing and self determination with grant winners selecting grant winners; the ultimate goal of increasing a person's sense of self worth, independence, and self control over one's life journey.

Grant winners must agree to be on the Grant Winner Selection Committee for two (2) years.

The Barbara Joy Silver Grobman Education Scholarship Fund - yearly to male and female students with disabilities who have been accepted to a college/university for undergraduate, masters, or doctorate course of study. Four grants awarded per year (2 x male, 2 x female, 1 x recognition of hard work, 1 x hard work and financial need). Submissions by teacher/professor in conjunction with that of the student accepted.

The Bernard Sheldon Grobman Business Grant - yearly to a male and female with a disability who desires to open their own business. Financial burden considered. Submissions by the individual and/or family member accepted.

The Jerry Staller Peripheral Medical Grant - yearly to a male and female for medical equipment (everyday or sport), not covered by insurance to aid in independence and freedom of activity in life. Financial burden considered. Submissions by the individual, family member, and/or medical professional accepted.

The Dr. Leon Root Medical Grant - yearly to a male and female with a disability who need support in paying medical bills. Financial burden considered. Submissions by the individual, family member, and/or medical professional accepted.

The Brockolee & Cheese and Hilti Gun Service Animal Grant - yearly to a male and female with a disability who desire the support of a service animal. Financial burden considered. Submissions by the individual, family member, and/or medical professional accepted.

The BGlad (Babette Gladstein) Service Animal Medical Grant - yearly to a male and female service animal that is need of medical support of their medical bills after years of service to a person with a disability. Submissions by the team member and veterinarian accepted.

The Marie A. “Princess” Racius Healthcare Aide Appreciation Grant - yearly to a male and female with a disability who has been part of a team for many years and desires to show their appreciation by applying for a vacation grant for their longtime aide. Submissions by the individual and/or family member accepted.

The Anders Uhrskov Study Abroad Scholarship Fund - yearly to male and female students with disabilities who have been accepted to a study abroad program (in a different country from their home college/university). Four grants awarded per year (2 x male, 2 x female, 1 x recognition of hard work, 1 x hard work and financial need). Submissions by teacher/professor in conjunction with that of the student accepted.

The Paul DiBello and William Dean Athletic Scholarship Fund - yearly to a male and female with a disability who has had the life long goal of representing their country on their National Team, but due to disability limitations, after years of dedication to themselves, their goal, and their sport, have not been able to qualify. Award to include a set of National Team clothing for the year awarded. Submissions by team coaches accepted.

The Virginia Martin Sportsmanship Scholarship Fund - yearly to a male and female with a disability who has a love of and a dedication to a recreational sport, that adds quality and independence to their life. Award to help offset the cot of lessons, training, and equipment. Four grants awarded per year (2 x male, 2 x female, 1 x recognition of hard work, 1 x hard work and financial need). Submissions by coaches, teachers, family members and friends accepted.

The Patty Piccola Dependent Living Upgrade Fund - yearly to a totally dependent male and female with a disability. A grant to help those families or friends who support a disabled individual in an assisted living facility by providing addition financial support beyond that of state or federal provisions to better the quality of life of the disabled individual. Financial burden considered. Submissions by the individual, family member, or friend (providing the additional support) accepted.

The Odi Sese Davantes Spirited Giving Fund - yearly to a male and female with a disability who have a desire to contribute financially to a cause, be it a charity, foundation or religious entity, etc., that holds an important place in one’s life, but have not had the financial means to do so. $500.00 award each, directly sent to the desired entity in the recipient’s name. Award can be split between two entities, if so desired by the recipient. Financial burden considered.
